Why Sitting Cross-Legged Can Pose Problems for Those With Diabetic Foot

Hi, I’m Doctor Gabe Rodriguez and today I would like to speak to residents of Sioux Falls about why sitting cross-legged can pose problems for those with diabetic foot.

Diabetic foot is a condition which must be carefully monitored. There are a number of factors that can have an adverse affect on circulation and cut off the blood supply to the feet. One of those factors is sitting cross-legged. Sitting in this manner can reduce the amount of blood in the feet that is needed to heal wounds or deal with underlying issues. It also can make your foot go numb, similar to the affects of neuropathy.

If you have diabetic foot, I want to help. I invite you to come see me, Doctor Rodriguez, at my office here in Sioux Falls. Click here to read my full report and to make an appointment: http://siouxfallspodiatrist.net/diabetic
